All That Jazz SFR is no stranger to odd Facebook event co-hosting requests from one Daniele Spadavecchia—which we always thought was kind of funny. Right up until we actually took a moment to listen. Spadavecchia's tunes are throwback, sure, but in a glorious Django Reinhardt sort of way. Like that fun intersection between alternating bass notes and upbeat jazzy riffage that you'd probably hear in your head if you ever feasted with Italian people. It's a little bit swingin', it's a little bit technically marvelous and, best of all, you can either dance to the stuff or stuff your face. Give it a try. We did. (ADV)” - Alex De Vore

Daniele Spadavecchia

Guitar and Voice

Daniele Spadavecchia was born in Italy where he studied classical and jazz guitar and where he
performed for 15 years before moving to New Orleans. After Hurricane Katrina, he has played
around the country from San Diego to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Antonio, Washington
D.C. and many other places before returning to the Crescent City and finally settling in the beautiful
city of Santa Fe.
During the 25 years of his musical career, he has refined a sophisticated guitar style and a captivating
voice that keeps the audience enthralled, entertained and -when the time is right- on their feet
dancing. Having mastered the Gypsy Jazz guitar style invented by Django Reinhardt, he has created
his own musical flavor mixing acoustic jazz, swing, Latin and Italian classics singing in Italian, English
and Spanish.
Daniele has taken part in many important events including the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage
festival, New Orleans French Quarter Festival, Italian American festivals in Washington DC, New
Orleans and San Diego along with radio and TV appearances. Click for a list of events, concerts and
